Medical daycare is an outpatient clinic that provides medical interventions, as well as minor procedures for patients who require non-emergent infusions, transfusions and medical procedures.

Some of the services provided at this clinic include:  

  • Blood transfusions
  • Intravenous immunoglobulin infusions
  • Intravenous iron infusions
  • Magnesium
  • Methylprednisolone
  • Minor wound treatment
  • IV antibiotics
  • Diabetic wound assessment
  • IV Bisphosphohates 

What to expect

Please ensure to wear comfortable clothing.  If receiving an infusion preferable to wear a short sleeve shirt.  Depending on type of appointment may want to bring something to read/listen to.   

Due to space and patient confidentiality family members may not be able to stay for entire procedure.

How to get here

The Medical Daycare Clinic is located on the main floor of the New Paul Myers Tower. Entrance is beside the 13th street entrance 

Paid parking is available in the hospital parking lot, entrance off of 15th street.  

If you are driving, please allow for extra time as parking space is limited. 
Patients should check in at main registration located in the NE expansion entrance of the 15th street parking lot.
