Paediatric asthma clinics provide asthma education to children and their families who have difficulty controlling their symptoms and use excessive medications.
What to expect
The Paediatric Asthma Clinics support target groups, including
- people with asthma who having difficulty with control and or those using excessive medications,
- people with moderate to severe asthma, as determined by the physician, who would benefit from education, and
- people with asthma with barriers to learning i.e., age, language, culture and people who are newly diagnosed with asthma.
Hours of operation
The clinic is available 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for five to six days per month: First Monday of the month (statutory holidays not included) Second Wednesday Third Monday Fourth Monday Other days can fall on a Friday
