Richmond to gain 210 residential care beds with new facilities

Vancouver -­­ Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) has signed two agreements for a total of 210 new residential care beds in Richmond. The expansion of residential care in Richmond is a significant step in meeting the care needs of community residents who can no longer live safely at home with support.

North Shore gains 43 residential care beds in a new facility

Vancouver, BC - Vancouver Coastal Health has signed a contract with the Trellis Group to build and operate a new 180-bed residential care centre on the North Shore. The Creekstone Care Centre, which will result in an increase of 43 publicly funded residential care beds on the North Shore, is scheduled to open in the fall of 2018.

Vancouver Coastal Health signs agreement for a new residential care centre in Sechelt

Vancouver, BC – Vancouver Coastal Health has signed a contract with the Trellis Group to build and operate a new 128-bed residential care centre in Sechelt. The Silverstone Care Centre will result in an increase of 20 residential care beds on the Sunshine Coast, providing care for more seniors in their own community. It is scheduled to open in August 2018.

Vancouver, BC - Vancouver Coastal Health has signed agreements for six new and expanded residential care facilities, providing about 600 beds across the health authority, including 225 additional beds. The agreements are part of a $40 million, 10-year strategy that will see a significant number of the region’s residential care facilities rebuilt.
